James P. Moore

Born in 1934, Nashville, TN

He grew up working trade shows in his father’s business, Moore Display Service.

In 1969, he created Moore Displays, Inc. and became President/CEO.

Jim has spent all of his adult life in the trade show industry.  Serving on the Boards of the various industry related associations has given him insight as to the importance of helping the exhibitors function in an efficient manner, and become successful on the trade show floor.

In 1996, he sold his company, but continued working until January 2000.  At that time he semi-retired so he could write this book.  He felt this book could reach thousands of first time and new exhibitors, many more than the personal, one-on-one contact of the past.
